BEHIND THE PEN

​

Currently living in Logan, Utah where I was born and raised, I am an aspiring children's book illustrator with ample experience in the visual arts field. 

I aim to evoke both an emotion and a personal narrative with every image I create.
​I have an Associate's Degree from Snow College in Graphic Design and Art, a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Utah in Psychology, and worked as an Assistant Gallery Manager at Williams Fine Art Gallery in Salt Lake City for just under five years.

As of fall 2013 I have been attending Utah State University to gain a degree in Elementary Education.

I have a passion for the arts and in sharing it with others. I strongly believe that it needs a stronger voice in the education system (particularly in the elementary schools) and I hope to be able to incorporate these beliefs in my classroom.
Illustration is my source of income and support for my education. I truly appreciate all of the tremendous response from all of you.
